Blake 350 Fringe Events

"The Ultimate Guide to Admiral Blake", a film portraying the life and times of the famous General-at-Sea, will be screened for the first time at Bridgwater Arts Centre on 7th August 2007 commencing at 7:30pm.

The show will also include a pre-feature entitled "Blake's Bridgwater" which was made in association with the Bridgwater and District Civic Society.

Tickets are priced at £5.00 if booked in advance or £7.00 on the door.

Small Furry Creatures Productions in association with the Young Persons Film Council are in the process of creating a thirty minute biographical documentary film.

"THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO ADMIRAL BLAKE" will be shown to the community around August, venues, dates and times to be announced.

The DVD will be made available to local schools and colleges for the purposes of education.

The project is being funded by the Somerset County Youth Service and theYouth Opportunity & Youth Capital Fund.
